Obsession
Today is February 20th which means it’s national love your pet day! It’s a day to let our pets know how much we love them. I am using this day as an excuse to pull out more toys for Milo to play with. He really loves balls as he can easily bat them around and loves to chase after them. He had a blast chasing them all through the apartment. Here is a photo of Milo in his kitty living room.
Every time I get up to go to the bathroom, I come back to find Milo has taken my chair, every time.
Milo likes to help me do homework. Sometimes he just gives me company, and other times he just straight up sits on whatever I am doing, which is more or less unhelpful. He just thinks everything is just for him, like the model I was making for my showcase.
This is one of Milo’s many ways he likes to tell me he is hungry; pestering me while I am doing homework.
I made a little living room for my cat because I am crazy. I bought a couch-like pet bed, which inspired me to make a little living room around it. I had a pink strawberry bath mat that I ended up not using at my current apartment that made a perfect area rug. I also had a mini wood and stone fireplace my dad made me when I was young for my American girl dolls that was just sitting in my parents’ basement. I also had lots of smaller decor items that fit perfectly on the mantel of the fireplace. For Christmas, I was gifted a new mirror that I hung instead of the gold one, which I couldn’t hang. I was going to put the gold mirror away but then I remembered a lot of the trendy home decor pins I saw on Pinterest had a lag mirror so I added the mirror to the little living room. I also had some postcards of famous artworks I got from the MAM giftshop that worked perfectly for wall art.
