I was not the only crazy cat lady in my family. My Great Grandmother was a CERTIFIED crazy cat lady. There was not a room that didn’t have something cat-themed in her 2 bed 2 bath trailer, yes even the bathrooms. Unfortunately, she moved into a home and shortly passed so many of her cat things were passed down. I have inherited a few things and so have my mother and grandmother. I aspired to be as much of a crazy cat lady as my Great Grandmother was, and I think I’m on the right track
Passed to Me

Perfect Little Cats
Another lovely thing that was passed down to me was this cute little book of cats with passages about them. It is dated 1994 and appears to be a Christmas gift. These are just some of my favorite pages, there is even one dedicated to tortoiseshells.

Book of Cats and Kittens
This is another book about cats and kittens in each phase of life. It has some text but is mostly black and white pictures. There are some pretty funny and cute photos that remind me of photos I have of Asher and Milo. This was a Christmas gift from my great-grandfather and kids to my great-grandmother, dated to 1975.

Passed to my Mother
The cat cookie jar was passed down to my mother/me, I was given permission to have it but I currently simply do not have space so my mom is taking very good care of it. This is another one of my favorites because cookie jars are not as popular as they used to be so I think this makes a really unique one.

Passed to my Grandmother

This teapot was passed down to my grandmother, and I think is one of the best items in my Great Grandmothers collection or at least one of my favorites. It’s one of those really unique pieces that could only be vintage as they don’t make stuff like this anymore.
